Triarole ("we", "our", "us") operates the platform at triarole.com, which connects career explorers with working professionals for shadowing sessions. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@triarole.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password when you sign up.
- Profile information: bio, current role, career goals, and any optional details you add to your profile.
- Booking information: session dates, intake form responses, and correspondence with hosts or guests.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never store card numbers or full payment details.
- Identity verification: if you apply to be a host, Stripe Identity collects and processes identity documents on our behalf.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and browser/device information collected via analytics tools.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To facilitate bookings between guests and hosts.
- To process payments and transfers via Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations).
- To verify host identity and conduct background checks.
- To respond to support requests.
- To improve and maintain the platform.
4. Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Between guests and hosts: when a booking is made, both parties see each other's name, a brief profile, and contact information relevant to the session.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email), and Zoom (video sessions). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Triarole or its users.
5. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we'll delete your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records).
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict its processing. To make a request, email support@triarole.com.
7. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (to keep you logged in) and for analytics. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they're required for the platform to function. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential storage via Supabase Auth, and PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of Triarole after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
